Dani Island Trip

The Island is located at the opposite end of Beyt Dwarka.

TheView of the whole Beyt Dwarka and Pin shows our destination at Dani. It is Beak like Appearance.


The Closer View of The place where we were stayed for three days and had very great fun. It is beak like appearance and during High tide most of the part of the beak gets under sea water. We have also experienced such situation during nights. The Brown squares in the image are the tents and kitchen of the Sundarvan, CEE, Ahmedabad. Actually they held Marine Camps at this wonderful place every year and many people gets chance to experience of wonderful and beautiful holy nature via this activity.

 
We had very great time at this place at 24,25 and 26th December, 2010. We have enjoyed Marine environment and Marine wildlife. This island is having superb marine as well as terrestrial diversity. We were four friends visited such a wonderful place, Kartik Upadhyay, Mittal Patel, Rahul Bhatt, and Me. We enjoyed swimming in the deep blue sea and had a wonderful time for coral observation and other marine life. The invitation for visit such wonderful place is given by our friend Mr. Shivbhadrasinh Jadeja. He is a Camp coordinator, Sundarvan, CEE, Ahmedabad. We have seen 4 species of coral, Dolphin, Various types of Crabs, Lobster, Also seen a baby Octopus, Some Fishes, Valuable Algae Sargasam and other two species, Waders like Curlew, Plover, Sandpiper, and Sea gull, Kaspian Tern and Green Sea Turtle. The species of Shells are also rich in diversity at this island. Here is some of glimpse of such a heaven like place clicked by my Best buddy - my cam.

Everyone can see how beautiful the creation of nature but our Various activities are harming such species and rapid growth and pollution are killing such species. Everyone has to think about this problem seriously and we have to take move to conserve such species and also our ENVIRONMENT.
